Christmas Update

Addy came home on Christmas Eve. It's been wonderful having her home. I just can't cuddle with her enough. Ask Aaron, I have a hard time sharing (until about 3AM).

Dad and Austin showed up on Christmas Eve as well. We were all together, but missed Lacey and her family (stayed in WA).

Christmas is always an exciting time at our house. Santa didn't disappoint and we were all very spoiled this year.

Mom and dad (grandma & pa) spent lots of time with the kids this past week. Bowling, bounce houses, swimming and shopping were the highlights....although, I think if you ask Peyton it would be reading stories with grandpa.

I said goodbye to my 'mommy' who has been here for the past 6 days tonight. They are headed out bright and early tomorrow morning. I'm not sure how I'm going to survive without her help. Meals, cleaning, grocery shopping and taking care of the kids...she is amazing! No matter how old I am, I will always need my 'mommy'.

Baby Addison has arrived

Addison Hope Yount was born on December 21st @ 4:28AM. She weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 18.5 in long.

After only 1.5 hours of labor (and NO pain meds...not intended), Addy was born with out a peep. Even after the nurses tried to get her to cry, she didn't even whimper. I think she knows that I need some peace and quiet with the other 4 terrors that are running wild at our house.

Addy has been in the NICU since Tuesday morning because she wasn't keeping her oxygen levels up. I was discharged from the hospital Tuesday night....and had a very hard time leaving my new baby behind.

Tonight Addy is off the oxygen and is doing really well. She finishes her last round of antibiotics tonight and we are praying that we will get to bring her home tomorrow.

The kids haven't got to meet Addison yet and are VERY excited to finally meet her. Christmas this year will be extremely special, as we are getting a new baby, sister, daughter and angel to join our family.

Visiting Family

I am in Washington visiting family for a couple weeks. Kaden, Peyton and I caught a ride with Skyler (who was coming for corn harvest) on Sunday morning and we'll be here until Nov 8th. The girls stayed home with Aaron because of school...so they are sad they didn't get to come visit grandparents and cousins.

Let me know if you're in the BC area....I'd love to visit!

September Update

I feel like I can't keep up...hence the once a month post...sorry. Here's what's been going on:

*Girls started school...and they love it!
*We met my family (minus Lacey & George) at my parents' property in Darby, MT over Labor Day Weekend for a camping trip (had fun swimming at the Lost Trails Hot Springs and riding horses)
*Playing at the park
*Ashlyn had to have her 2 front bottom teeth removed by the dentist yesterday because they wouldn't fall out on their own (and the permanent ones were coming in behind).
