Ok...so it's been a week and a half since her apt in SLC....sorry it's taken me so long to give you the update. So much has happened around here...it's all a little overwhelming. So, here's the scoop...
Peyton will get her helmet in September. She will wear it for 3-4 months. We have to continue physical therapy until then and hopefully get her neck fully functioning before then. She weighs 14 lbs 5 ounces ALREADY! She's between the 50 & 75% for weight and at 50% for height. She is getting so chunky! She puts all her weight in her middle section (like her mama)...she has a big "bronx bootie" (Ashlyn says it's "Eppich bootie) and large rollie-pollie thighs. It's so cute!
She can hold her head up much better now, so we just started putting her in the jumper. She just sits there, but the kids think it's fun to swing her. She smiles really big and her cheeks are so chubby that they look like they are going to explode! She hasn't learned how to laugh yet....but I know she can make noise....holy cow that girl can scream! We are working with her to learn how to roll over and hold up her head so she can play on her tummy. Things are coming a little slower with her than my other kids, so it's a little frustrating sometimes.
We just switched her to Nutramigin formula, and she doesn't like it. It tastes and smells terrible! It also stains her clothes. No fun!
