First Feeding

Last night we gave Peyton her first taste of rice cereal. She actually did better than I thought she would. She had a hard time eating because she couldn't stop smiling. It's amazing how a child's smile can brighten your day, change your outlook on life and improve your mood.

Childhood Best Friend

Just a little FYI....Kiley Nielson Bagley had her 3rd baby...her 1st girl...on July 18th (Kache, Ryder, Dallie). They named her Dallie Lynne...she was 6 lbs 12 oz and 19 3/4" long. She is a cutie! And doesn't Ki look so great after having a baby?!? I look like someone hit me in the face with a sledge hammer! They live in Nebraska on a ranch. I heard she loves it there....sounds like her. I'm super excited for her and hope all goes well! PLEASE keep in touch!

Peyton Update

Ok...so it's been a week and a half since her apt in SLC....sorry it's taken me so long to give you the update. So much has happened around here...it's all a little overwhelming. So, here's the scoop...

Peyton will get her helmet in September. She will wear it for 3-4 months. We have to continue physical therapy until then and hopefully get her neck fully functioning before then. She weighs 14 lbs 5 ounces ALREADY! She's between the 50 & 75% for weight and at 50% for height. She is getting so chunky! She puts all her weight in her middle section (like her mama)...she has a big "bronx bootie" (Ashlyn says it's "Eppich bootie) and large rollie-pollie thighs. It's so cute!

She can hold her head up much better now, so we just started putting her in the jumper. She just sits there, but the kids think it's fun to swing her. She smiles really big and her cheeks are so chubby that they look like they are going to explode! She hasn't learned how to laugh yet....but I know she can make noise....holy cow that girl can scream! We are working with her to learn how to roll over and hold up her head so she can play on her tummy. Things are coming a little slower with her than my other kids, so it's a little frustrating sometimes.

We just switched her to Nutramigin formula, and she doesn't like it. It tastes and smells terrible! It also stains her clothes. No fun!

The LONG Wait!

Ok...this post was at the request of my husband. He obviously doesn't know how to blog and normally thinks I'm silly for some of the things I post, but he keeps bugging me to put this up...so here it goes.

As some of you know, the NEW iPhone 3G came out on Friday. Aaron has been waiting for this and told me that he was going to get it the day it came out. Well, every store had a limited supply, so he told me he was going to have to stand in line to get one. Little did I know he meant, all night long! Well, he went at 3:30am and there were already 4 people in front of him that had been there since 6pm the night before. CRAZY! Anyways, he waited in line until the store opened at 8am and got his 1st iPhone! He is in love and won't let it out of his sight. I find him gazing at it and drooling over it several times a day. I'm feeling replaced. I heard there is a support group for wives of husbands with iPhones...I'm joining!

Which Disney Princess Are You?

Soccer Begins

The girls are playing soccer this summer. Their first game was on Tuesday....what a sight! Since they are in the youngest age group, the games are a riot! No goalies, very little rules, and very little know-how. The kids don't know which way to kick the ball, they are trying to catch the ball with their hands, they don't understand out-of-bounds.....if you're looking for a good laugh, this is it!

Well, Ashlyn does pretty well. She is the tallest on her team and has quite a power-kick. Morgan on the other hand is just out there for the attention. She needs to be in a beauty contest and NOT soccer. She got kicked in the shin (my fault...no shin guards), and was so upset that the coach had to carry her off the field. HOW EMBARRASSING!

Yesterday was their second game and Morgan sat on the side-lines the whole game and Ashlyn played awesome and made her 1st goal!
